"Traces in the Empty Quarter"

Crossing the largest sand desert in the world - and the real challenge that led to AirX Pioneer.

When tire pressure decides whether you move forward.

AirX was not created on a drawing board. The idea was born while preparing an expedition through the Rub al Khali.

The Empty Quarter of the Arabian Peninsula is one of the most uncompromising yet beautiful landscapes on Earth. The Rub al Khali is the world’s largest sand desert, roughly twice the size of Germany, with dunes up to 300 meters high.

In this environment, tire pressure becomes decisive. Even during preparation, it became clear that conventional systems were too slow, too static and not made for heavy expedition vehicles in constantly changing extreme terrain.

That is exactly where AirX Pioneer came from.

NOW! YOU ARE THE LIMIT!The beginning of AirX as a brand

This clip was not the beginning of AirX technical development, but it was the first moment the idea became visible to the outside world.

Achmed and his run through the desert became the starting point for our marketing presence. With this exact video, we reached our first test drivers, created attention and found people who understood what AirX is really about: getting out into the terrain and having fun.

The technology takes care of the rest.
